Q: How can I remove or add a household member to my profile?
A: If you have installed our software and completed the registration process successfully, you can update your profile and add/remove household members at any time by following the steps below:
Q: How can I update my profile to reflect how often other household members use this computer?
A: The reason you cannot enter how often other household members use your computer is because you originally noted that you were the sole user of your computer. To add how often other household members use this computer, follow the instructions below:
  1. Visit our home page.
  2. Enter your username and password and click Submit.
  3. Click Update Household Profile.
  4. Select the correct number of members to add by clicking the `Add more members to household' drop-down.
  5. Review the remaining profile pages and make updates as necessary; click Finish Profile Update to save all changes.
Q: I am not sure who to enter as the primary owner or renter of my household ¿ what can I do?
A: If you find it difficult to choose a primary owner or renter because you have household members or roommates who share equally in household expenses, we simply ask that you choose one person who owns or rents this home, even if you do so arbitrarily. We do not suggest your choice be either male or female. We only ask that you make a choice so that we can include your data in our reports.
Q: If a household member is under the age of 16, do I need to enter a working status for him/her?
A: Please note that the working status or work history of children under 16 years of age is not required. You will find those fields grayed out on your profile pages.
Q: Will others be able to access my personal information during the course of registration?
A: Our profile pages are secured. The personal information that you provide us will not be accessible to others when you register with Nielsen Digital Voice.
Q: How do I update my profile?
A: If you have installed our software and completed the registration process successfully, you can update your profile by clicking on Update Household Profile. Please note that if you are not currently logged in, you will be asked for your username and password in order to enter our Members Area.
Q: How do I update my username and/or password?
A: To update your username or password, please visit our home page. Enter your username and password in the Member Login section and click Submit. Next, click Change Username/Password and follow the on-screen instructions.
Q: How can I retrieve my password if I forgot it?
A: If you forgot your password, please click the following link: Forgot your Password? You will be asked to enter your username, which is the email address you used to sign up as a panelist. After you click Submit, we will send a message with your password to the email address you entered. (If you do not receive the password email, please check your Spam and/or Junk email folder).
Q: Do I have to fill out profile information for all the members of my household?
A: Yes, in order to accurately report the way that you and members of your household use the computer and the Internet, we ask that you provide us with profile information for everyone in your household.
